He vivido en diferentes lugares como Madrid, Barcelona, Lisboa, Zúrich, Ciudad de México y Dubái. En ellos he aprendido que hay muchas formas de ver la vida y de entenderla. El conocer, observar y desconocer, sin juzgar.
Cuando decidí, hace años, dejar el mundo del Derecho para adentrarme en el mundo del Arte, opté por adoptar el rol de espectadora anónima de esas culturas y personas que me encontré por el camino y unificarlas en emociones universales, en el mundo interior del ser humano.
Esa “mujer” que aparece en mis obras, es el canal que utilizo para representarme a mí misma, reflejando esas emociones.
El propósito de mi trabajo es dar una interpretación bonita de la realidad, a través de la imperfección y de la asimetría. Por eso, mis mujeres son imperfectas, como la vida, con un toque de melancolía quizás, pero siempre llenas de esperanza y fortaleza. En mis obras me enfoco en la importancia de las pequeñas cosas en el día a día y en poner una sonrisa en la cara de la gente cuando las mira.
